IBPS RRB Recruitment 2020: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the official notification for the recruitment of IBPS RRB 2020 (CRP RRBs IX) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The online application will start from 01st July to 21st July 2020. Interested Candidate can check the official notification and ensure their eligibility for the vacancies.

Online examination will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in September and October/November 2020.

  • All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognised by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 21.07.2020.
Proficiency in local language

For recruitment of Officer Scale I & Office Assistant (Multipurpose), proficiency in local language is an essential qualification:-

  1. Candidates who have already studied the language of the State in standard VIII in Government recognised Boards of Education/ School would be considered proficient in that local language.
  2. Where the candidate does not meet the requirement in local language at the time of selection, he will be given a time of six months from the date of joining to acquire the proficiency.

IBPS RRB 2020 Recruitment: Application Fees

  • Rs.175/- for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates.
  • Rs.850/– for all others

How To Apply: IBPS RRB 2020

Follow these steps for IBPS RRB Online Registration 2020:

  • Visit the official website of IBPS: https://www.ibps.in/
  • Go to the “IBPS RRB” tab and go to the “Recruitment for IBPS RRB IX” Notice
  • Click on the “Apply online link.
  • On the redirected page, click on “Click Here for New Registration”.
  • Enter your basic information like Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile Number to register yourself.
  • A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Note them down. The same will also be sent to you via your registered email ID and phone number.
  • Log in with your Provisional Registration Number and Password and edit the particulars, if necessary.
  • Enter your Personal, Academic and other details.
  • Upload scanned copies of your Signature, Photograph, Left Thumb Impression, and the Handwritten Declaration.
  • Make payment of the application fee.
  • Click on “Submit”.
  • On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated.
  • Download and print out several copies for future reference.

Note: Candidate can either choose Hindi or English language for examination.

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.

INTERVIEW – applicable only for post of Officers (Scale I, II and III)
  • Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I and in the single level examination for the post of Officers Scale II and III under CRP- RRB-VIII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be co-ordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS.
  • The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The relative weight age (ratio) of Online Examination and Interview will be 80:20 respectively for the Officers cadre.
