OPSC PG Teachers Recruitment 2019: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of 128 Post Graduate Teacher (Group B) vacancies. Last date to Apply online is 21.09.2019. The posts are temporary and likely to be made permanent.

This recruitment is for Post Graduate Teachers under Science Stream in Group-“B” of State Service for the Newly created one Mega Urban Educational Complex — Biju Pattnaik Adarsha Bidyalaya/14 Ekalavya Model Residential Schools and 10 Kalinga Model Residential Schools functioning under ST & SC Development Department.

OPSC PGT Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. A candidate must have a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
   OR
   Must have possessed two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education NCERT in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Have B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognised university.
3. Diploma or Degree in Computer Application is desirable qualification subject to production certificate in support of above qualification obtained from a recognised University or College or Institution.

Age Limit as on date 01.01.2019

Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 32 Years

Age Relaxation

• The upper Age Limit is Relaxed by 5 Years for the candidates belonging to socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), women and Ex-Servicemen.
• 10 Years for PWD Category, whose disability is not less than 40%.

1. Written Exam Pattern

• The examination will be of Objective type, Multiple Choice Questions and will covered in one paper consisting of 150 marks and 150 questions with 3 hours duration.
• The paper shall comprise of 2 parts, i.e. Part-A (Compulsory) and Part-B (Concern Subject).
• Part-B (Concerned Subject) shall consist of 100 marks with 100 questions covering the syllabus prescribed for P.G. Degree in the concerned subject.

The order of merit shall be determined on the basis of aggregate marks secured by a candidate in written examination and viva-voce test taken together
